We are excited to invite your family & friends to KidsLinked 10th annual Greater Columbus STEM & Arts Expo presented by Meijer (11/3/24). This is your family's resource fair to find neat things to help grow your children's education & find STEM & Arts resources. It includes LEGO competition, new marble run maze competition, spelling bee, math challenge, robotics, carnival game competitions, Anime art challenge, chess/checkers tournaments, UNO tournament and more. Plus tons of new education resources, products, technology, computers, science, financial planning, tutoring, education advancement, and more items! Sign up soon, will fill up fast!

Event Admission Free. Pre-register to participate in the following items. Hurry, will fill up fast. Click on “Ticket” to register.

1. GOLD Entry + Event Bag: FREE Admission LIMIT 1,000: (Check in is in front of JC Pennys) Admits entire family (Includes Standard Event Bag – not the VIP Bag + Updates on the event)

2. LEGO Building Challenge: $12 Per Entry - 1-2PM – Big Air/Play Court Area LIMIT 50: Categories: 11 & Under and 12-18 years old : You have 15 minutes to pick 70 LEGO blocks. You then have 15 minutes to build something creative from your 70 blocks. All blocks must be used. 1st-3rd overall prizes for each age group. LEGO prizes for 1st place in each age group. Awards determine on most creative LEGO build. You keep what you build!

3. Marble Run Maze Tournament! (2:15-3:15PM - 3 Levels to Enter – (1) BEGINNER BUILDER (50 Pieces) 12& Under $12, (2) BUILDER PLUS (133 Pieces) 15& Under $20, or (3) MASTER BUILDER (197 Pieces) 18& Under $30 – Big Air/Play Court Area LIMIT 50: See Marble Maze Kite Examples Your entry includes the Mable Maze Kit (we provide). 20 minutes for Beginner Builder, 40 minutes Plus & Master category. Marble run maze with different obstacles & elevations. Race your marble down the track you build! 1st – 3rd place will be the fastest person to build the entire track and successfully race your marble down your track. Prizes for all entrants. Must use all pieces. Super fun! You keep your Marble Run!

4. Robot Race, presented by (FREE - 1-3PM Center Court outside of JC Penny's LIMIT 100): This fun robot race has contestants race a robot through a course to see who can complete it the fastest! Open to age groups of 7-11 & 12-17. Robot and all items provided (no need to bring anything). Medals & awards for 1st-3rd + 1st place winner of each age group receives 1 month of Code School!

5. Paper Airplane Tournament (FREE - 1 - 3PM - Saks/Play Area Court LIMIT 400): Create your favorite paper airplane or we'll have paper/designs for you to do at the event. Each competitor can create 3 paper airplanes. From there you'll be targeting hoops of different distances. Points will be awarded for landing an airplane in the hoop! Organized by 6 and under / 7-11 years old / 12-17 years old / Adult.

6. Math Quiz Bowl Challenge (FREE - 1:30 – 2:45PM Main Stage LIMIT 40): A fun Jeopardy style math challenge. Organized by grade (4th-7th grade and 8th-12th grade). Each entrant will be grouped into a group of 4-5. Questions will be asked, and 1st to respond correctly wins points for each round.

7. Checkers Tournament (FREE - 12:30 - 1:30PM – Game Area – near Macy’s LIMIT 100): Standard checkers tournament! Beat your competitor and move to the next round. Single Elimination. Organized by age 11 and under, 12-17, and adult.

8. Anime Art Competition (FREE - 1:45-2:45PM - Game Area – near Macy’s LIMIT 60): Fun competition that starts with a brief history of Anima art. From there will be an art challenge to draw any character using Anima style. It will be SUPER fun with great art prizes & medals for 1st-3rd by age group! Organized by 11 & under / 12-18 years old.

9. Carnival Games Tournament – Physics & Fun! ($5 Per Game – Saks / Play Area Court LIMIT 80): Pick from 3 different fun carnival games to play tournament style! You will be placed into a bracket for the game you pick to play in this single elimination tournament. Each round you advance the bigger the prize you win! All age groups welcome and will compete against each other. See further down for fun physics side of each game!

• Rubber Chicken Launcher (2:30 -3PM)
• Duck Hunt Game (3:00-3:30PM)

10. Candyland Tournament (FREE - 3 – 3:30PM - Macy's Area - Lower Level LIMIT 200): Simply the most fun board game. Tournament style. Winner of each game will move to the next round. Final prizes or bags of candy! Organized by 6 and under / 7-11 years old / 12-17 years old / Adult.

11. Spelling Bee (FREE - 3 - 5PM Main Stage LIMIT 140): Spelling Bee's are back! Single elimination spelling bee. Organized by grade (1st & 2nd grade / 3rd - 4th grade / 5th-6th grade / 7th-8th grade). Each round participants will be given a word to spell. Spell it correctly and move to the next round!

12. UNO Tournament (FREE – 3:30 – 4:15PM – Big Air/Play Court Area LIMIT 100): Categories 11 & Under and 12-18 years old, Adults : The most fun card game ever. Tournament style. Each game has a time limit of 8 minutes. Winner is determined by the person with the least # of points (or 1st to having no cards) Winner of each game will move to the next round. Fun prizes, UNO prizes and more! Organized by 11 and under / 12-18 years old / Adult.

13. Chess Tournament (FREE - 3:45-5:15PM - Macy's Area - Lower Level LIMIT 48): Standard chess tournament! Beat your competitor and move to the next round. Single Elimination. Organized by age 11 and under, 12-17, and adult.

14. Fun Pass! (FREE – NOON – 4PM LIMIT 500): includes the following items:

• Mystery Prize Wheel: Receive 1 spin on the fun prize wheel to win one of 8 different prizes!
• Lollipop Game: Play this fun lollipop game where you will pick various colors (like Candyland) to determine which lollipop you win! Very fun.
• Duck Matching game: Play to win either fidget toy, fun water growing character, Squishy toy, Slap Bracelet, or candy bin
• Lucky Coin Game: Pick out of our lucky treasure pot and get either our Gold or Silver coin to win a prize!
• Prize Pinball Game: Get 1 try on this fun pinball game to win 1 of several different neat prizes – yeah!

Awards & prizes: 1st-3rd place for each age group category. Some competitions may have multiple winners in the same age group depending on the # of rounds and time allotted for the competition.

(3) Saks / Play area is right in front of the Saks 5th Ave Entrance & kids indoor play area. (4) Big Air / Play area is right in front of Big Air Trampoline Park.

• How it works: Start at the KidsLinked booth (Center Court – Lower Level near JC Pennys). From there you can receive whatever item you signed up to do or directions on where to go for each competition.
