About this Event
In early 2024, Greater Manchester’s bid was selected to form one of two pathfinder areas for the Department for Education’s Regional Care Cooperative (RCC) programme. The RCC will be formed of all 10 local authorities in Greater Manchester and GMCA.
This event is the first in what will become a regular series, and we intend to share openly the work we have undertaken so far, plans for the future and listen to your views. It is for Providers of Children’s Residential, Foster Care and Supported Accommodation with services operating in Greater Manchester, and will be a great opportunity for you to hear how the RCC will work alongside LAs and in partnership with Providers. This initiative aims to transform the way we create and commission services across the region, and we are eager to collaborate with providers like you to shape this innovative approach.
During these sessions, we will:
- Share information about the development of the GM RCC model
- Listen to what this means from a provider’s perspective
- Deliver a series of themed workshops linked to the GM RCC Programme
