A day of gaming which follows on from the last but is also a stand-alone narrative. The brooding, ancient denizens of Neptune are no longer willing to sit back and allow the upstart Terrans to potentially challenge their Hegemony. They have woken their robot legions, brought their space fleets back online, and send forth an invasion armada the likes of which the embattled nations of Earth have never seen. The Great War of the Worlds has begun!
Game 1 - Encounter at Phobos
Fleet action between Royal Space Navy, Imperial Russian Space Fleet and Deutsche Kaiserliche Raumflotte and the Neptunian Armada.
Game 2 - Invasion from Space
Neptunians land across the world, trying to establish a Beachhead.
Game 3 - The Big Push
Forces clash as they battle for survival.
Game 4 - Final Offensive
A last ditch attempt to establish dominance.
Games will be played using Osprey’s ‘Xenos Rampant’ rules (yes, even the space combat one!). Each player will choose from the French, Russian, British or German Empires and represent their nation in a series of battles for the planet Earth itself!
Cost of attendance will be £10, payable through PayPal at tangentminiatures@outlook.com.
Attendees will have to source their own food and drinks from the onsite cafe on the day.
