*Please let us know if you plan to attend this presentation!Next year in April Darlington County Recreation Department will be taking a trip to see the Grand Canyon! This is the first of two long distance overnight trips we will be taking in 2026. There will be a trip presentation on Nov 13th at 6 PM that will cover everything we will do and everything you need to know about booking this trip. Deposits can be made now and the final total is not due until Jan 26, 2026. This trip will be 6 days long and highlights include: Two rail journeys- Grand Canyon Railway and Verde Canyon Railroad, Grand Canyon National Park, Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona Trolly Tour, Chapel of the Holy Cross, Tlaquepaque and Uptown Sedona, Montezuma Castle, Jerome, and Chuckwagon Supper and Show. There will be down time between activities where travelers are free to explore on their own and have freedom to plan their own activities.
