The Great Star Theater is a magical celebration of culture, art, and tradition in the heart of San Francisco. As the only remaining theater in San Francisco Chinatown, we offer a community space for live entertainment, film, private events, community celebrations, and workshops. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we are honored to carry this legacy forward, providing a space for live performances, film, and community events.To keep this spirit alive, we warmly invite you to join us for a special event of celebration and support. Join celebrity guests Daniel Wu (吳彥祖) and Ben Fong-Torres as well as San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie as we come together in the heart of Chinatown to celebrate an institution that has touched so many lives for a century.

🤝 3:00 PM – VIP Backstage Meet-and-Greet
Exclusive for VIP ticket holders: Meet Daniel Wu (吳彥祖) and Ben Fong-Torres for a behind-the-scenes experience.
✨ 3:50 PM – Main Event Begins Onstage
Live Entertainment – Enjoy a showcase of Chinese Opera, Martial Arts and Guzheng music.
