Step into the past during Great Road Day, when Lincoln’s most historic sites open their doors for one special day! Travel along one of the oldest highways in America and explore over 300 years of history at your own pace.
🏛 Participating sites include:
Arnold House (1693) – A rare stone-ender and home to Lincoln’s founding family.
Saylesville Friends Meeting House (1703) – One of New England’s earliest Quaker meeting houses.
Hearthside House Museum (1810) – The “House That Love Built,” filled with antiques and costumed interpreters.
Moffett Mill (1812) – A frozen-in-time machine shop, accessible only by shuttle.
Pullen’s Corner Schoolhouse (1850) – Lincoln’s last one-room schoolhouse.
Hannaway Blacksmith Shop (1880) – Live demonstrations at the forge.
Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge (1804) – Open just once a year for this event.
Northgate (1807) & Arnold’s Lonsdale Bakery (1874) – Historic toll house, Grange, and bakery exhibit.
