Moline Centre is excited for the Great Race event, so we're having a watch party for it!Join us noon-6pm in Moline's Skinner Block Courtyard for a front row seat when over 100 cars in the Great Race pass by on their way to John Deere Commons from the I-74 Bridge. Gates open at noon, with live music from 3 ON THE TREE starting at 3pm (3-6pm). The cars will roll into downtown Moline Centre around 4:30pm, and local classic cars will also be on display.
This is a free event, with food and drinks available for purchase, and the courtyard patio sponsored by Simply Amish Interiors will be open. The Skinner Block Courtyard is located at 1520 River Drive in Moline, between The River House Bar & Grill and Dead Poet's Espresso Ltd. Some seating is available, but please bring a lawn chair.
The Great Race is an annual road rally that spans ten states over nine days. This year, it starts in St. Paul, Minnesota and the drivers have an overnight stop in Moline on Sunday, June 22. The Great Race cars will be parked and on display 5-8:00pm on River Drive near John Deere Pavilion, Wyndham Moline on John Deere Commons, MetroLINK's Centre Station, and Vibrant Arena.
