About this Event
Take on the Great North Run and run the famous 13.1 mile route from Newcastle - South Shields being cheered on by thousands of supporters.
The Great North Run takes you from the city centre of Newcastle, across the awe-inspiring Tyne Bridge to the finish line on the coast of South Shields. Lined along the route are hundreds of spectators cheering you on, creating a unique atmosphere. And by running for Rainbows, you'll be one of the 57,000 people taking part in this amazing event, full of fantastic fancy-dress runners, celebrities and those running for a PB.
Every step you take during the most iconic half-marathon in the world will help to brighten short lives, right here in the East Midlands.

What's included as a Rainbows runner?

Costs to run for Rainbows:
- Entry fee is £30
- Minimum fundraising target is £300 (excluding Gift Aid)
