All Aboard! Here comes the Great New York State Model Train Fair. Don't miss our golden 50th year model train extravaganza at the New York State Fairgrounds, Syracuse NY Saturday and Sunday, November 1 and 2. Adult admission is $15, Children ages 15 and under admitted FREE. The oldest and largest model train and hobby event in New York State features over 25 operating train layouts, including an actual train ride for kids and 500+ vendor tables of train and hobby supplies for sale. Be sure to check out our railroading theater while grabbing lunch at the food counter. Huge train loads of fun for all ages in a huge 110,000sq ft building. There's plenty of free parking available. One of the Northeast Premier model train and hobby shows! This is a fundraising event sponsored by the Central New York Chapter, National Railway Historical Society, Inc., a 501c3 educational non-profit organization with proceeds benefiting several of the Chapter's ongoing preservation efforts of historic railroad equipment and two railroad station museums.
