If the show moves indoors, then premium seats will be in the front half of the room, and general admission will be at the back half of the room. Signage will help direct patrons.

⭐ Jimmy Buffett started out in Nashville intending to become a country singer. But a friendship with the legendary songwriter Jerry Jeff Walker inspired him to move to Key West. And once Jimmy fell under the spell of the sun, surf, and sand, he decided to celebrate the tropical lifestyle in his music.

He clearly struck a chord.

Jimmy's first and only Top 10 hit “Margaritaville” brought him fans both along the coasts and in the landlocked parts of the country. And with songs such as “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes,” “Son of a Son of a Sailor,” and “Fins,” Jimmy continued to capture the laid back feel of the tropics. Soon, instead of just marketing T-shirts and trinkets at his shows, Jimmy was delivering the island mystique he sang about via the Margaritaville resorts and restaurants that would make him a billionaire.

Hosted by William Lindsey Cochran, Great Moments in Vinyl will play the songs that created the myth and give you the stories behind the music, too, when they pay tribute to Jimmy Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band on June 2 at The Venue in Aurora.
