We are so excited to bring you this year’s 10th annual Great Mankato Toy Drive for CADA!! This year we have partnered with The Women of Kato to bring you entertainment from some very talented women in our community! This event brings people together to celebrate the holidays and more importantly to support children in our community. We are in need of toys and gifts for children of all ages. Toys, gifts and monetary donations are accepted (monetary donations will be used to purchase gift cards for older kids). We ask that no violent toys like toy guns, knives or swords are donated. Toy drop off is all day and night at Nakato so even if you can't make it to the show feel free to swing through anytime. Every little bit helps.
Proceeds benefit kiddos at the Committee Against Domestic Abuse and The Child and Family Advocacy Center of South Central Minnesota.

Mal Murphy and Laura Karels of "Women of Kato" are really excited to team up with the annual Great Mankato Toy Drive for CADA on December 7th! Following the previous Women of Kato structure, Mal and Laura have asked four new talented women to come and share their musical talents one at a time, and possibly a couple songs together at the end. Hanna Cesario, Kat Baumann, Cara Lucille, and Sylvia May will be preforming at this Women of Kato event!
Hanna is a music educator, piano tuner, and performer based in Mankato. She runs her own private music studio (Kato Music Lessons) specializing in voice, ukulele, and piano. You can find her out performing solo and with her bands Uccellino, Dan Duffy Orchestra, Jazz 10, Silver Summer, and a Patsy Cline Tribute band.

Cara Lucille is a Mother, an RN, and the lead singer of The Quantum Mechanics, a pseudo-scientific interdimensional fusion jam band. Her solo songwriting on guitar presents as a vulnerable contrast to her bold rock band persona and seeks to connect to listeners through highly personal stories of love, loss, and awe.
Sylvia May has been coming up with songs since she could sing! Her acoustic guitar playing mixes beautifully with her deep lyrics and emotional singing voice. Her purpose for writing is to allow listeners to feel understood through the odd and undiscussed feelings and experiences we all go through. She is currently excited to be working on her next big release.
Kat Baumann is a singer-songwriter-choir-nerd, also working as a freelance illustrator in Mankato. You can find her in the studio recordings of groups like DeCantus and Bring the Sun and spot her regularly performing around southern MN with Joe Tougas & Associates and I Cantanti Chamber Choirs
