The GREAT GLOBAL GREYHOUND WALK is an annual dog walking event that brings together greyhounds, lurchers, other sighthounds & their owners to raise awareness of the breeds and show the public just what wonderful pets they make.Last year, walks around the globe included 36 countries, 458 walks & 11,818 sighthounds.
KCREGAP is excited to join this amazing global event with a walk in KC at the Plaza Fountain at Mill Creek Park. We will gather at 11:30 on Sept. 29 in the parking location at 4324 Main St. (across from Quik Trip). Parking passes will be available.
Make sure to arrive at 11:30 to register your hounds! The walk will begin at noon.
There will also be raffles, hound dog/hot dog combos, martingale collar vendor, happy hound games and a costume contest before & after the walk.
Pups and humans in costume each get a free raffle ticket. The world wide theme is FLAGS again this year so make sure to dress to impress!
