About this Event
This Easter we're offering a full day for children age 10-16 to explore and engage in the great outdoors! The day is packed full of activities, games and crafts to help young people connect with the fantastic natural world that surrounds them. Learn to light a fire, chop kindling and cook delicious treats, learn to safely craft using tools such as knives, saws and hammers, discover how to work with ropes and knots to hang swings and construct shelters, or just enjoy chilling in a hammock with the sights and sounds of nature.
This day camp will run from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Drop-off and sign in between 9.45-10.00am.
Over the course of the day, children can expect to:

? Learn new bushcraft skills
? Meet new like-minded friends
? Create fun and useful crafts to take home
N.B. Prior to the event, each attendee must complete and return the that will be emailed with the event information.

Funding:
Thanks to our award from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for the Peatland Progress project, we're able to offer subsidised places for all attendees! Places are discounted to just £25 per child for this whole day experience. If you feel this price is still prohibitive, please get in touch and we'd be happy to discuss funding on a case by case basis.
Terms & conditions
- If you or your child is feeling unwell, please do not come to site. Just call and let us know.
- Parents are required to park in the car park and bring their child to the session leader for registration.
- Only those booked onto the session can attend as we adhere to strict supervisory ratios.
- During the session your child will be supported to enable them to engage in all activities. We aim to be accessible to all - please get in touch to discuss your child's needs.
