L’Associazione Fratellanza San Marino - America presents 'Great & Good Friends' Gospel concert on January 4th and 5th, 2025 at Teatro Titano (RSM) in San Marino. After 12 years, gospel music returns to the historic center of the Republic of San Marino with an exclusive concert. The event features the Amazing Grace Gospel Choir, a 25-member ensemble directed by Maestro Timothy Martin, an accomplished musician, tenor, and musical director. The title 'Great & Good Friends' is taken from a letter written by President Abraham Lincoln to the Captains Regent of San Marino on May 7, 1861, in response to being granted honorary citizenship. The event has the High Patronage of the Captains Regent, the Secretariats of State for Tourism, Foreign Affairs, Education and Culture, Finance and Budget, Industry of the Republic of San Marino, the Patronage of the US Consulate General in Florence, and the support of the city of Springfield, Illinois, where Lincoln lived and is buried. The proceeds will go to the Association Batticinque, which aims to improve the quality of life for people with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders.
