Grease is a musical set in the 1950s, centered around high school students navigating love, friendship, and identity. Danny Zuko, a cool greaser, and Sandy Olsson, a sweet new girl, fall in love over the summer. When Sandy unexpectedly transfers to Danny’s school, their relationship is tested by social expectations. The story unfolds with lively songs, dances, and teenage drama within the T-Birds and Pink Ladies cliques.
For the past six months, the cast and production team of Close Encounters Theatre’s Broadway Academy course have been fervently rehearsing this wonderful musical, and we are thrilled to once again act, sing and dance on the stage of The Millers Theatre, showcasing Zürich’s incredible local talent and our passion for the performing arts.
