Oviedo High School Theater presents the classic hit musical GREASE on November 6 and 7 at 7pm, and November 8 at 2pm and 7pm. All tickets are $10 through the school’s website or at the door. Set in the 1950s, GREASE tells the story of Danny and Sandy, two teens whose fantasy summer romance comes crashing down around them when faced with the pressures of their senior year in high school. Through iconic songs and award-winning choreography, The Pink Ladies and The T-Birds lead the audience on a whirlwind tour of Rydell High School, from the first pep rally to a rainy Prom Night all the way to their Graduation Carnival.
The show is directed by new Oviedo High School theater teacher James Brendlinger, with choir teacher Morgan Watts providing musical direction, and choreography by Ariel Whittington. The show was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Oviedo High School’s Student Government Association. Over 100 students are involved in the cast and crew of the show, with OHS families and staff pitching in to help.
