The Grayston Unity presentrs The Love Buzz + Currls as part of our 10th birthday celebration festival, GraystonBury.
Irelands own DIY Scuzz-Pop threesome The Love Buzz are best known for their high energy shows and hypnotic melodies. It’s a sound that blends punk, indie, and power pop.
Their debut EP Candyflip introduced them as a band willing to challenge genre norms, and their 2021 follow-up, Here Comes the Scum, built on that. The band continued to develop their sound, gaining recognition from publications like DIY Magazine, Clash, and Hot Press.
Over the years, their live shows have taken them across Ireland and beyond, including a support slot with The Darkness in early 2022. 2023 saw the release of Sing! Sing!, the first track from their upcoming EP No Different. That same year, they toured Europe and the UK, played five stages at Glastonbury, and delivered a standout set at Ireland Music Week.
In 2024, the band released No Different in April. They also made waves at Eurosonic in the Netherlands, headlined a Jameson Connects tour across India, and secured a slot at Primavera. The Love Buzz continue to develop their sound and keep a steady pace, focusing on live performances and the next steps in their career
Currls are a Brighton based Garage Rock trio that burst onto the scene in 2017 and have since become a formidable presence in the underground music scene. Seamlessly blending raw Garage rock, fast-paced Punk, and sludgy Pop, Currls is a sonic powerhouse that will leave you feeling ready to take on the world.
Since their inception, Currls have gained notable support from BBC 6 Music’s Amy Lamè, Marc Riley, Steve Lamcaq, BBC Radio 1’s Alyx Holcombe and BBC Introducing’s Melita Dennett, whilst also receiving worldwide radio play. The band also secured a spot on ‘Glastonbury Festival’s Emerging Talent longlist’ in 2025 and 2022 and also won UK’s Record Store Day’s ‘Unsigned 2023/24‘ competition.
In a world saturated with conformity, Currls stands as a beacon of authenticity – A trio that defies expectations and leaves an everlasting imprint on the hearts of those who dare to listen.
