Meet CALX, a Drum & Bass DJ originating from the mighty Morrinsville, pivotal in propelling the Hamilton Drum & Bass scene to new heights.
Kicking off his nightclub journey at The Back Bar, CALX showcased his talent while supporting esteemed international artists including Grafix, Crossy, Gray, Simula, Urbandawn, Alix Perez, Pola & Bryson, goddard., and Netsky. Noteworthy among his journey is his electrifying performance at New Zealand's biggest festival, Rhythm & Vines, where he graced the esteemed George FM Chiller during the summertime festivities.
CALX is dedicated to intertwining his passion for mental health advocacy with his musical craft, shedding light on and destigmatising mental health challenges in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Throughout his journey, CALX has spearheaded numerous fundraisers, extending a helping hand to combat Aotearoa's mental health crisis.
CALX's unique ability to seamlessly blend singalong Drum & Bass, ensuring the crowd joins in on the journey, coupled with his infusion of Jump-Up & Rollers that ignite the dance floor with gun-finger excitement, guarantees an eventful and unforgettable experience at every performance.
In acknowledging his remarkable journey, CALX emphasises that none of this would have been achievable without the unwavering support of his friends and family, who have been instrumental in paving the path to his success.
