We’re excited to announce Race #3 in the Gravity Girls SA 2025 Race Series—a Cross Country Marathon (XCM)!Get ready for a fun and challenging event where riders tackle a timed circuit race. Whether you’re racing solo, teaming up as a duo, or simply coming along to cheer, this event is a great way to enjoy the trails and connect with the Gravity Girls community.
🚵♀️ What is a Cross Country Marathon? 🚵♀️
A Cross Country Marathon (XCM) race challenges riders to complete as many laps as possible within a set time limit. This race will run for 3 hours (9am–12pm), with riders allowed to start their final lap up until 2:59:59 after the race begins.
🚴♀️ Mass Start: All riders will start together at 9am. Start positions will be self-seeded, with faster riders towards the front and slower riders towards the back.
🎯 The Course: A circuit featuring blue-level trails, with a mix of climbs and descents.
👭 Duo Riders: Team up with a partner for a relay-style race. Each rider must tag their partner in the changeover zone located in the race village. Partners can complete the same or different number of laps—it’s up to you!
