This year’s theme, “Adventure Begins at Your Library!” encourages children and teens to discover the world and other cultures through reading. The Summer Reading Program, open to youth from infants to young adults, features weekly programs, storytimes, a reading club, and more. In line with these efforts to encourage reading throughout the summer, the Florence County Library will offer special summer programs for grades 5K-5th held on Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Joseph Stukes Meeting Room.Seating will be limited and must be reserved. Admission is free to all programs. The Florence County Library will welcome Gravity Check for the third program of the summer. Gravity Check is a comedic juggling duo that specializes in high-level technical juggling, Chinese Yo-Yo’s, and many other circus-type skills. This event will take place on Wednesday, June 26 th at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Florence County Library. Parents and caregivers can visit or call the children’s library at (843) 292-7382 starting June 19th to reserve seating for this event. Registration will end on Tuesday, June 25th at 7:00 p.m.
