About this Event
Join us here at historic Union Cemetery to learn how we clean our gravemarkers. We provide all supplies. This can get messy and we do recommend wearing clothes you don't mind to get dirty. Our vice president, Heather Faries, and other volunteers will demonstrate the proper cleaning techniques for our gravestones, then you will have the opportunity to clean gravestones as well. Volunteers will be available throughout the event for questions and further instruction if needed.
The chemical we use is non toxic, but if you are sensitive to cleaning products this class may not be for you. All gloves, brushes, safety glasses, and additional cleaning supplies will be provided for the class.
If it storms we will email all ticket holders for a reschedule date.
