Gravely is so excited to bring back our 5k and 1 mile Color Run/Walk! This will be a fun event for the whole family!Proceeds from the race will benefit Gravely’s encore programs!
Please read all the information below carefully.
ENTRY FEE: $25 per participant
Registration will close on September 28.
*REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE*
EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE.
A parent/guardian must also be participating in the race or be present on Gravely premises at all times for safety reasons.
COURSE: 5K race will begin promptly at 8:00am at Gravely Elementary. Participants will run/walk from Gravely’s bus loop to Alvey Elementary and back for a fairly straight, family-friendly course. 1 mile run will begin promptly at 8:15am at Gravely Elementary. Participants will run/walk from Gravely and turn around at the half mile mark.
ABSOLUTELY NO BIKES, SCOOTERS OR DOGS. Strollers are permitted but please keep in mind this is a color run and it may get dirty.
TIMING: The run will not be timed.
PARKING: Parking will be limited so we encourage participants to walk or carpool to Gravely.
RACE PACKETS: Race packets will be sent home via your student’s backpack on Friday, October 4.
If you do not have a student at Gravely, you may pick up your packet on race day between 7:15-7:45am.
SHIRTS: All participants who register by September 17 will receive a custom Gravely Color Run shirt in their race racket. All participants who register between September 18-28 will receive a plain white t-shirt in their race packet.
BONUS: All participants will also receive a pair of sunglasses.
