This is a club ride not an event. All riders are expected to be self sufficient, self supported and capable of self navigation. There is no prescribed pace for the ride. Riders are encouraged to recruit a riding partner if they specifically want to ride with other people. This will be a facts gathering ride for us as well. We haven't ridden the levees in several months so status and conditions could have changed along certain segments.
We will be following the provided 30 Mile Exploro Loop in a semi guided/semi no drop format. We will stop along the way for most of the group to regather and explain what lies beyond at certain turn around spots. Riders are welcome to follow their curiosities and explore whatever segments they wish. There is no obligation to specifically follow the mapped route. This is meant to be an adventure and an exploration that inspires ideas for future rides in the area as well.
