GRATITUDE BOWLS FOR TWEENS: What are you grateful for? Join the North Branch Library on Tuesday, September 23 at 6 p.m. to create your own clay Gratitude Bowl — a special bowl that can hold the names of the things you’re thankful for!A Gratitude Bowl is a ceramic bowl designed to hold small rolls of paper with your written expressions of gratitude. Led by Community Clay Connections, attendees will learn how to practice gratitude through the hands-on creation of their own bowl. Participants will be able to decorate and color their bowls, which will then be professionally finished in a kiln. Bowls can be picked up four weeks after the program.
This free program for tweens ages 8–12 is funded by a grant from United Arts of Central Florida and Laguna Clay.
