For the final PR Bandits run of 2024, we are heading back to Grassland Middle School for one of our most scenic runs!***Please, don't be intimidated by the map milage, this is a great out and back for everyone, no matter your preferred milage or speed.***
As we end the year, I know some of you have milage goals, well no reason to stop here... Endless roads ahead.
If you have not been out on this run, this is a must!
Horses, rolling hills, streams, minimally traveled country roads (Still be careful, these are open roads), you will feel great on your ride home or to breakfast from this Franklin location.
The map shows 20 miles, but again, this is a perfect run for any miles, with identified turn points for 6 mile, 11 mile, and 12 miles.
The corner of Old Natchez Trace and Moran Rd is an excellent turnaround to get in 6 (3 out and back), and also where the Skratch Hydration will be located.
There is a church at about the 5.5 mile mark for those that are running 11.
For those that want more, finish the last half mile of Old Natchez Trace (12 mile turnaround), or take a right on Old Hillsboro Rd, and a quick left on Del Rio Pike, with many more miles of open road ahead.
