JDRF Volunteer Opportunity: Support JDRF Families & Initiatives!About this Event
JDRF is the world’s largest nonprofit funder of type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Our focus is on finding a cure; until we do, the advancements we’re making every day improve the lives of those living with the disease until that day comes.
JDRF Advocates help build and sustain critical support for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research funded by the Federal Government by raising awareness among Members of Congress of the financial, medical and emotional costs of the disease.
On Friday, June 14th, Grassi volunteers will participate in supporting JDRF families and initiatives by creating:
- Walk goody bags for hospitals
- Bead Bracelets – V1P/T1D
- T1D Friendly Cooking Recipes with Card Counts and Insulin Bolus Amounts
- Ride posters
- Thank you notes/letters
Volunteer Maximum: 10 participants
