ABOUT OUR TELLERS:
Gerald Fierst is an actor, storyteller, and author who has worked internationally in film, television, and theater. He worked closely with Dr Yaffa Eliach and adapted her award-winning collection of oral histories, “Hasidic Takes of the Holocaust” into the musical play “Dancing With Miracles”. He has received two Parents Choice Awards for recordings of world folktales.
Kory May tells stories to make sense of the world. Since the world continues not to make sense, Kory continues to tell stories. For 2000+ consecutive nights (six years and running), he has done a nightly microcast, “Thoughts Too Big for My Head”. Kory performs twice monthly with TellersBridge, an Eastern Iowa storytelling collective and he has entertained audiences throughout the Midwest. He has stories and will travel.
