GOALS:
DAY ONE - 1). To motivate participants to develop a grant writer or grant leadership team in their district.
2). To gain knowledge about grant opportunities available to school districts SPECIFICALLY INCLUDING After-School Grants, Literacy Grants, Science Grants, STEM Grants, Technology Grants, Health Grants, Physical Activity Equipment Grants, Safety Grants, Art Grants, Field Trip Grants, Numerous Foundation Grants for Schools, Donation Requests/Magic Letters AND MANY MANY MORE EASY GRANTS FOR SCHOOLS.
3). To gain a basic overview of grant writing and provide information to introduce grant opportunities to staff through professional development opportunities.
4). To eliminate concerns about the difficulty of grants & follow up reports.
5). To gain data resources and utilize the information to create a school demographic profile for grant applications. To better utilize academic scores and data for grant applications.
6). To send participants back to their school waving their own magic wand by giving them the tools they need to encourage district staff to begin writing grants to secure funding for their district.
DAY TWO --
1). To apply what you learned in day one.
2). To have hands-on grant writing assistance.
3). To have the information to complete a grant, an easy grant introduced during day one for up to $5000, before you leave the training.
