Grant us peace ("dona nobis pacem") is the text of the final movements of both of the wonderful masses by Franz Joseph Haydn that will be performed on this concert. Often known by their common names, instead of their Latin titles, The Little Organ Mass and The Lord Nelson Mass. Although they have the same Latin text that is traditional in a mass setting, the two masses are different in how they present the movements. The NKCC chorus will be joined by soloists and instrumentalists.
