Grant Street Exit was formed in 1982 and is based in
Sharon Pa.
The band plays improvised music with a strong melodic feel, focusing on the sounds that were dominant in the early jam band days and other eclectic sounds like folk rock to rock, blues and more.
Over the band’s 42+ years, Grant Street Exit has become best known for being the local area’s top jam band.
Playing the music of notable groups such as the Grateful Dead, with passion and their own unique improvisational feel, as well as their original songs.
