Granny Squares are a THING! They can be made into clothing, pillows, scarves, and the now popular Book Blanket, where you make a square for each book you read, coordinating your yarn colors with the book’s jacket! Granny Squares are quick and easy, even for beginning crocheters, and best of all—they use up tiny amounts of yarn! In this class, Joanne from Stitches Alterations & Needleworks will teach you how to make the basic Granny Square, and then you’re on your way to make whatever you want! Participants will need a size H, I, or J crochet hook. Yarn will be provided. (If you’re an absolute beginner, you might want to watch this tutorial, You only need to watch the Chain Stitch and Double Crochet Stitch portions.)Cost is $30 per person
