Join our friendly team for a weekly parent and baby nature group. Connecting parent and child with one another and the world around them. Each session includes a peaceful walk around the meadow and sensory play (weather permitting) within our designated woodland area. Listen to stories, watch leaves dance in the wind, feel the bark of an oak tree, and smell wildflowers in the spring.
These sessions are great for little ones to explore the natural world, but it also gives parents a chance to talk to other parents, enjoy some exercise and learn more about the natural world. Each session is 60 minutes with time for a hot drink. You will be offered a hot drink as part of your ticket price during or at the end of the session.
Nature babies gives parents and babies the opportunity to learn and play together outdoors. Guided experiences help build confidence, encourage creativity, improve communication and language, develop fine and gross motor skills and, importantly, create shared memories for parent and child.
We are currently offering Nature Babies as a block booking. The events will take place every Friday from 26 April to 24 May (5 weeks).
Dates: 26 April, 3, 10, 17, 24 May.
And you can choose from 2 sessions on booking: 10am - 11am or 11:15am - 12:15pm.
Suitable for ages 6 to 18 month. Please come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the whole session.
Events will be held at Chigwell Meadows, meeting instructions will be sent on booking. Toilets are available at the Grange Farm Centre.
Advance booking is essential. You only need to book a place for the child attending. Accompanying adults do not require a place.
