GRANDMAS HOUSE:
Grandmas House, Bristol’s finest and loudest 4 piece, have been busy honing their grunge and post-punk influenced sound, citing influences that range from Idles and The Raincoats to Nirvana and boygenius; Yasmin, Poppy, Zoë and Polly are a genuinely unique proposition.
Refusing to be pigeon holed, they are here to shake up perceptions with their intelligent, stylish and raucous take on rock music and a live show to remember.
Grandmas House are seasoned pros, from playing Reading/Leeds, Greenman, 2000 Trees, Prima Vera and countless other festivals, to having support from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Emily Pilbeam, Amy Lamé, Craig Charles, Iggy Pop and more, you know that GH will be bringing a quality show to Exeters finest underground venue with some cracking support just added!

THE JACQUES
The Jacques are brothers and founding members Finn & Elliot O’Brien and long-standing multi-instrumentalist Harry Thomas. Their debut album The Four Five Three was released in November 2020 and earned 4 stars in the French Rolling Stone. Singer Finn’s charismatic lyricism and unique vocal style coupled with an avant-garde approach to the guitar and synthesiser and raucous live drums create The Jacques’ unmistakable sound; at the very least, undeniable is the claim that this band have to a distinctive sonic identity. The band have focused on EU territories in previous years with a particular focus on France, and have performed at Transmusicale, Reeperbahn, Eurosonic, London Calling, Rock En Seine, Where the Wild Things Are and Le Chien a Plume. Other past shows include Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, CMJ in New York, SXSW and a sold-out headline at NYC’s Mercury Lounge. The second album, Make Repetition! will be released on 11th July 2025.
