Starting at 4:45 PM, entrants who have signed up during the first half of the festival at the GVBA tent next to the stage will line up to be judged by local “celebrities” across various categories. Each winner will snag prizes from Grandin Village shops! Go to the WinterFest page at historicgrandinvillage.com to get all the info!
THE WINTERFEST BOOGIE WOOGIE HOLIDAY BAND IS BACK!
The band is made up of the local dynamic jazz ensemble The Boptet joined by guest vocalists putting their unique spin on swinging holiday classics.
Back for the fifth year, The Boptet includes Wyatt Allen, Edwin Parker, Joel Stopka, Willis Greenstreet, Joey Ballard and featured on piano this year, Lenny Marcus. A dynamic jazz ensemble from Roanoke, VA, known for their intricate harmonies and infectious grooves, this ensemble blends exceptional local talent with a deep connection to Southwest Virginia’s musical heritage. Our vocalists this year will be Becki Robertson, Hoppie Vaughan and Terry Brown.
We can't wait to have you help bring in the holidays in Grandin Village. Don't miss this unique band, not heard elsewhere in the valley, and enjoy high quality gifts from our vendors and shops. Restaurants will be open as well, so show them some love!
