The Grand Shaft staircase will be open Sunday 17th August 2025 for self guided walks up and down the unique and fascinating triple helix staircase hidden inside Dover's white Cliffs https://doverwesternheights.org/visiting-the-grand-shaft/
Access and self guided exploration are free but if you enjoy the visit, friendly greeting and help from our volunteers we would welcome a donation towards the work of the Society. All money raised goes back into the Western Heights as none of our committee or volunteers take any type of financial reward for their work. You can donate safely online at our GoFundMe page or we welcome cash donations on the day.
