All Nations (including children) are invited to a traditional Anishinaabe ceremony along the Grand River to honour the spirit of Nibi. We will feed the water, pray for her, and sing and drum together.Please dress for the weather and for ceremony. If you have a drum or rattle, bring them with you.
Our ceremonies are held in Schneider Park, across from Freeport Hospital. Meet in the parking lot at 8:00 a.m. to walk down to the river together. Please arrive on time, as our ceremony begins with a smudge.
