In May of this year, we proudly opened the Sasquatch Wellness Trail at Starkey Park. This trail has been wildly successful, attracting daily visitors, including individuals and families, who are looking to engage with nature and focus on their well-being. The overwhelming popularity of the trail has shown us the community's strong interest in combining outdoor activity with wellness practices.However, with this success have come challenges, including theft of signs and flooding issues. To address these concerns, we partnered with Parks and Recreation to develop a comprehensive plan. This plan not only expands the trail but also includes enhanced security measures for signs and solutions to mitigate flooding. We are excited to announce that the expanded trail will be celebrated with a special walk on October 11th.
