The Portland Puppet Museum re-opens with a new exhibit "Women of the Ancient World! A spectacular exhibit showcasing the amazing women from all around the world and time and the puppets who represent them. Come see us weave their stories with puppets from Asia, Africa, Europe and America and learn about the amazing women who have shaped their culture and the puppets who represent them. We have all sorts of female puppets from the heroines to the princesses and even the demons and witches! Come take a tour and go on an unforgettable journey with us on Thursday November 21st! The normal museum hours are Thursday through Sunday 2:00PM to 8:00PM unless we're running live puppet shows inside the museum. Museum admission is by donations. The holidays are rapidly upon us, so come help us ring in the holiday cheer with our Adult Night Out a hosted cocktail party and live performance of "The Nutcracker Cracked" on Friday the 22nd from 7:30-9:00PM! We will have beer and wine tasting with hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic spiced hot chocolate.
Friday Nov 22nd the museum will be open to the general public from 2:00 to 6:00Pm then closing for preparations and reopening the doors at 7:30PM for the show.
Saturday and Sunday we will be running family show of "The Nutcracker Cracked" and will be opening the doors for the show at 1:30PM for tickets and seating, so museum hours on Saturday and Sunday will be from 4:00PM to 8:00PM for the general public throughout November and December, and January.
