Join us to celebrate the grand opening of Violet Crown Trail at Slaughter Creek to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.For 25 years, Hill Country Conservancy has been dedicated to preserving the water, wildlife, and natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country and one of our signature projects has been the Violet Crown Trail. We’re thrilled to announce the completion of Phase I of the Violet Crown Trail—13 miles of trail connecting Zilker Park to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
To celebrate this incredible milestone, we invite you to join us in the La Crosse Avenue cul-de-sac on Saturday, November 9 from 9-11 AM for a special celebration. We'll kick off the morning with brief remarks and a celebratory ribbon cutting before enjoying a community celebration with live music, tasty snacks, and guided hikes along the trail’s newest 1.7-mile segment. This family-friendly event promises a fun and memorable morning for all.
