At long last, the day has come when we get to throw open the doors for you to enjoy ASW Distillery at The Battery Atlanta!
We cordially invite you to come celebrate with us at the Grand Opening of ASW Distillery at The Battery Atlanta on Saturday, March 27 from 12 noon-10pm.
With a tasting room inspired by the Atlanta Braves' rich history and designed by our own Kelly Chasteen, ASW Distillery at The Battery Atlanta features our gorgeous new Vendome Copper Hybrid Pot/Column Still for making delicious vodka and gin – which we will do in spades.
Not to mention, we'll be offering the most extensive cocktail menu of our 3 locations – including our ever-popular booze-soaked slushies, spirits tastings of our core offerings, including our brand new Bustletown Vodka (described below), an overview of our vodka/gin production operation, TVs tuned to the Sweet 16 and other of your favorite sporting events, and our regionally famous charming staff.
As part of this Grand Opening, we're releasing our first-ever vodka, Bustletown Vodka, whose name and label were inspired by our hometown of Atlanta as the busiest city in the South, and the site of the busiest airport in the world.
Seven-times distilled, ultra-filtered with activated carbon, and made in small batches using choice cuts, Bustletown is exceptionally pure and smooth as a cloud, remaining on standby for your next cocktail, dinner party, or private flight to Bruges, which is in Belgium. The first 50 bottle experiences to be reserved will be signed by GM of the space and vodka/gin distiller, Jerry McCall.
We have a few options for you to join in the fun. You can, of course, select more than one:
- Reserve a table inside at the Grand Opening. These are the 2-hour blocks you'll see available in the TICKETS section. Note: for each 2-hour block, there are five (5) 2-seat tables, seven (7) 4-seat tables, and five (5) six-seat tables available.
- Reserve a to-go bottle experience of our first-ever vodka, Bustletown. If you aren't able to make it on March 27, we can hold it for you up to 30 days.
- If reservations aren't your style, feel free to join us as a walk-up on our outdoor patio. Though indoor access will be limited to Reservation-Holders the day of the 27th, we'll have a full-service bar on the patio, and the entire Battery Atlanta complex permits open containers, so you can easily mosey on to one of the many great restaurants nearby for food. Note: the patio tables are first-come, first-serve.
If the opening of the Distillery in 2016 or the opening of the Whiskey Exchange Barrelhouse in 2019 are any indication, the Grand Opening of ASW Distillery at The Battery Atlanta will sell out faster than a John Smoltz four-seam fastball after its fourth espresso, so go ahead and let 'er rip on that reservation.
