Join us on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 12 PM to 5 PM for the official Grand Opening of Broxton Plaza, the largest pedestrian plaza in Los Angeles! Located in the heart of Westwood Village, Broxton Plaza is now a vibrant, car-free community space designed for outdoor dining, entertainment, and recreation.
This exciting event will feature free activities for all ages, including:
- Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony with speeches from local officials.
- Boba Giveaway for the first 100 guests.
- Free Roller Skate area with rentals and protective gear for borrow for free.
- Free Mat Pilates class by Mighty Pilates.
- Tabling with Metro Bike Share and other local vendors.
- Live Music from UCLA Marching Band & other student groups
- Waymo Promotion & Car Expo with exclusive offers.
- 2 Beer Gardens to enjoy drinks outdoors on the plaza.
- Kids Activities, with a soft play area and crafts to keep the little ones entertained.
- Performances by UCLA Spirit Teams to keep the energy high all afternoon!
As part of the L.A. City Transportation Department’s People St Program, 14,000 square feet of Broxton Avenue has been transformed into a pedestrian-friendly plaza with tables, chairs, games, and ongoing activations. This new public space will serve as a hub for community events, dining, and outdoor fun in Westwood Village.

Parking: Enjoy 2 hours of free parking in the Broxton Public Lot before 5 PM.
