Liberty, MO — January 15, 2026 — Jars of Clay Counseling + Wellness, a Christian wellness collective, is delighted to announce the grand opening of its new center at 104 W. Kansas St., Liberty, MO 64068. Founded by Licensed Professional Counselor Mendy Shriver and Licensed Pharmacist and Counselor Candace Jeffries, the practice is dedicated to nurturing healing, wholeness, and lasting transformation in the mental, relational, physical, and spiritual lives of those it serves.
Jars of Clay Counseling + Wellness is more than just a therapy practice — it’s a community rooted in compassion, faith, and holistic care. The center is dedicated to helping individuals and families grow in physical, mental, spiritual, and relational health through integrative counseling and wellness services.
The practice offers a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including trauma-informed therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, EMDR, family therapy, couples therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Additional wellness services such as nutrition guidance, lab work, hormone testing, food sensitivity testing, and pharmacogenetic testing offer clients deeper insight into how their physical health supports mental well-being.
