Join us on Saturday, March 1 as Wright State University-Lake Campus Professor of Earth Science and Paleobiology Dr. Chuck Ciampaglio takes us on “A Quick Trip Through Time in West Central Ohio: The Geology and Paleontology of Mercer and Auglaize Counties.”Dr. Ciampaglio will be discussing the geologic history of the area spanning the Silurian Seas 420 million years ago to the Pleistocene Ice Ages. His presentation will include the bedrock below our feet, the mineral resources, and surface features such as soils and Grand Lake.
