Learn all about grafting in this workshop and take away your own grafted plant!This year we will be covering both apple and pear grafting- attendees will get a choice which one they want to graft
We’re doing two events this year due to the popularity: 11/09 and 24/09. See our page for the other event.
- Hear a presentation on the basics of grafting fruit trees
- Learn all the tips and tricks for a successful graft
- Practice the cuts using the right tools and the correct technique
- Graft your own plant and take it home!
We will provide a selection of apple and pear varieties to choose from (as scionwood for you to graft), but please feel free to bring your own. It could be a piece of your favourite apple tree, an old heritage tree or something sentimental.
