Decorating your graduation cap is the perfect way to celebrate your accomplishments with a touch of your own style and showcase of your unique NYU experience! In celebration of your milestone, this in-person workshop will show you how to decorate and personalize your graduation cap with materials that can be found around the MakerSpace. We'll also cover some fun ways to use the machines and tools in the space to create more intricate designs.
Join the MakerSpace staff along with members of the class of 2023 to create a personalized keepsake for you to remember all the memories that you made. Whether it's a quote or an image, get your creative juices flowing in this workshop and create something that represents YOU and your experience at NYU. While some of you may not have received your graduation caps just yet, you can still follow along with the demos and tutorials so you'll be ready to decorate once your cap arrives.
Once you've finished your cap, we want you to share your pride with all of NYU. If you tag us in your Instagram photo, we will share with the NYU community!
