PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE: Due to a clash with Carols by Candlelight in Elder Park on 13 December, we have decided to move our performance of Songs of Joy to Friday 12 December at 8pm, still in St Peter’s Cathedral.
Join us for a festive close to our year-long celebration of the incredible music of Sir John Rutter! His rich legacy to the choral world is most evident in his vast output of Christmas music. Blending traditional carols with contemporary techniques, Rutter's settings capture both the joy and the reverence of the holiday season.
We invite you to join us for community carols, complete with organ and brass fanfares!
Including works by Felix Mendelssohn, Elaine Hagenberg, Will Todd, Lucy Walker, James Whitbourn, Adelaide's own Rachel Bruerville, and, of course, John Rutter!
