7YEARS IN UNDERGRADUATE,OUR REGRETS.
The journey of our undergraduate started in 2018, ASSU started strike that year when we were offered admission to the prestigious Ahmodul Bello University.
We join them in level 2, as direct entry and that was 2019. Because of the strike there was no academy calendar that year, in 2019 the journey of level 2 started which was a bit difficult but all praises belong to Allah.
In 2020, we were in level 3 but the second month of our resumption, COVID 19 started and there was no any academic activities that year. It was a unforgettable year for us, but we plan and Allah is the best planner. The good thing was that we were able to start the journey of our books which will published last year.
In 2021, when the academic calendar resume, (remember we are still in 300 level) Ahmodul Bello University resume in batches and we were among the second batches. Which causes a lot of delay.
In 2022, We proceeded to next level which is level 4 and we receive two month lecture and ASSU strike begins again, for a whole 8 months. Guys it was a longest journey I think for us in this struggle. It was the year I have a bitter resolution that my children will not see the four walls of federal university and also realized that federal universities are meant for we the children of the poor and not for the rich kids.
So many of our course mate left for private university, some even travel out of the country.
We continue the journey of level 4 in 2023, (Did you notice we spent two years in each level). Infact I don’t know how to tell my children that I spend 7 years in undergraduate.
Here we are in 2024, we have our degree not just degree but LLB.
DESTINY CAN ONLY BE DELAYED BUT CANNOT BE DENIED.
ALIHAMDULILA WE ARE NOW GRADUATE.
