Join us on Sunday, January 18th at 2pm as we welcome PATRICIA NAOMI PRESTES YAMAZAKI, a Brazilian piano prodigy. Patricia will share a free, one-hour recital followed by a reception with light refreshments.Her program will include:

• MOZART Sonata in C minor, K. 457, I. Molto allegro
• Frédéric Chopin- Ballade No. 1 in G Minor
• Rondo Capriccioso- Mendelssohn
• Sonatina- Edina Krieger
• Kapustin- Variations Op. 41
Patricia Naomi Prestes Yamazaki, sister of Jessica Mayumi who participated in our first exchange program in 2016, first visited LVC and Grace Church in 2018 when her parents participated in an exchange program for Brazilian teachers. While here, she took lessons on numerous instruments and amazed all of the teachers and students at LVC with her exceptional talent. Since that time, she has had great success as a young pianist and has won numerous honors and awards in piano competitions throughout South America. Besides the piano, she also plays guitar, cello, flute, violin, and cavaquinho.
