Grace Knight has been captivating audiences for over 40 years, starting her career as a singer on a cruise liner to Australia in 1977. Known for her powerful voice, she has amassed a repertoire of over 200 recorded songs, with her current show showcasing a mix of solo hits and interpretations of Eurogliders’ classics. A true creative force, Grace released her ninth solo album, Grace, in 2018, featuring a blend of reworked Eurogliders songs, jazz standards, and new material. With multiple ARIA awards, chart-topping albums, and a reputation as one of Australia’s finest interpreters of popular music, her performances continue to mesmerize audiences of all ages.
Grace first gained fame in the 1980s as the lead singer of the Eurogliders, whose hits dominated the charts. The band’s TV appearance on MTV’s New Year’s special in 1984 reached 65 million viewers, and their albums earned multiple Platinum and Gold certifications. As a solo artist, Grace transitioned from pop icon to a respected jazz performer, winning acclaim for her role in the TV mini-series Come In Spinner, which led to the highest-selling Australian jazz album of all time. In 2013, she reformed Eurogliders with Bernie Lynch, and since then, they have released new material and toured extensively. Grace now balances her time between performing with Eurogliders at large festivals and headlining her own intimate solo shows.
