This hands-on one-day workshop is designed for anyone who wants to grow their audience, create engaging content, and make social media posts that really connect with others. Blending strategy, practical skills, and easy-to-use tools, the session guides participants from understanding their audience to producing content that connects and performs.

Across the day, participants will learn how to plan achievable and engaging content, create visuals and videos using free and accessible tools, and optimise posts to reach and engage the right people. Through guided exercises, practical tips, and real-world examples, you’ll gain the confidence and know-how to manage social media effectively, save time, and measure what’s working.

Whether you want to build your personal brand, promote your business, or simply use social media more strategically, this workshop offers a practical, engaging and high-impact way to make social media work for you.

About the Tutor

An award-winning artist, illustrator, designer, animator, songwriter and digital content creator, Nicholas Stevenson brings industry experience and creative passion to their teaching.

As well as being the Course Leader for our BA (Hons) Digital Content Creation degree, Nicholas co-organises CMYK Festival of Print and Illustration and works with an impressive line-up of industry partners in his freelance practise. Previous clients include Google Arts & Culture, The New York Times, Bloomsbury, Domestika, and more.
